Sports Day

It was sports day today. This is an all day affair for us with children in the upper and lower school.

It was the upper school sports in the morning and we were there supporting our Es...it was really cold until the sun managed to break through...really was not pleasant for the first 90 minutes. Es ran well and got into the final...didn't get a place but gave it her all.

After a quick lunch at home it was back for round two where the boys were featuring. Much more pleasant watching in the afternoon...the sun was shining and it seemed like a completely different day.

The Reid men are not space hopper men...but they try:-) I think their legs are too long. Sports day is not Buncles thing but he puts the effort in. The Rooster came first in the middle distance and the sprint and he proclaimed himself winner in the sack race although he was about sixth...he was happy every time he crossed the finish line regardless of what place he came.
