Cake anyone??

My brother and sister-in-law to be gave me a cook book for my birthday a couple of weeks ago and i found this recipe for Genoese cake.

I made it first last weekend and it went down a storm at my hubbys work party.

It's my friend?s birthday today so i phoned and asked if i could bring a desert!

Next weekend is Fathers day so i will be taking this down to farther-in-laws but after that i've no more parties to bake for :-(

It is definitely now my signature dish!!
