I'm a-nappy girl!

Ok...terrible word play but I am happy. The sun is shining; my washing is drying the house is clean and supper is all prepared. My seven-year-old has been to two hours of gymnastics this morning; a party this afternoon and is now out playing and my baby has had two nice naps and played happily on his own nearby so this means we've got loads done. Life rarely works out this well but when it does it's great!

There's something weirdly satisfying about nappies drying on a line while I'm baking and gardening...something earth motherly. This is a quality which generally eludes me. However, today for one day only I am Mrs. Earth Mother and it feeeeeeels good!
