Poppied Bass

For ages I've admired these poppies which are along a stretch of the North Berwick to Tantallon Road. Today I blipped them, before they are faded into a decayed state and are merely a memory for me. I haven't done them justice, as their colours against the ochre and grey tones of the stone wall, sort of open my heart.
Why do obscure songs settle into your head for no apparent reason, so that one minute you're doing up your shoes and the next you're giving the old vocal chords an airing with ...tra la la whatever.
