Undefeated
Popped out to grab some shopping and noticed that there was a kite festival at Teston. On the way back I stopped and took some photos. They are on Flickr now. It really was a target-rich environment - took for ages to pick an image to use.
The title of this blip comes from the white horse, Invicta, which is the symbol of Kent. It is thought to date back to the Kingdom of Kent under the Jutes (C 6th century) and was the emblem of Hengist and Horsa who, legend has it, led the first Germanic tribes to arrive in Britain in 449 AD. Here the horse is on a kite from Kent kite flyers.
