Blast from the past

Our rental van, which miraculously arrived at our door yesterday, was put to good use today. We (mainly Mr B) moved two loads of stuff to the tip and one load of stuff from our lock-up back home. So, net, we are one transit van full decluttered. It's a drop in the ocean, but a start.

The load that arrived was mainly old files to be sorted through: including old university and work files that we've both been pointlessly hanging on to. Along with the haul of boring paperwork, was a box of Mr B's old dressing up clothes. He had quite a thing for hats, and this delightful object was used to hang them on.

Opening the box brought back the 70s in a whiff of dust, pvc and polyester.
