Light seekers

I continue to be awestruck by the effects of evening light in the forest. These giant maples have spent their lifetime curving toward optimum light. Their resulting awning is quite spectacular. I've tried to capture this many times and this evening was the best so far.

I know I am having a terrible time with focus and need to go back to the camera booklet and figure it out. Time, time, time. I'll fly by the seat of my pants until then.
