Spiny Gifts

As promised on yesterday's blip, here is the first of the "gift" pictures.

These wonderful friends were given to me by @5357311, and they're absolutely fabulous! You may remember that I blipped the first lot of spiny friends he gave me on the 29th April (I can't believe, looking at that picture, how some of them have grown since then - amazing - look out for another blip soon too because there is growing action going on that will need recording before long).

As you can see, one of the new friends is pretty tall, which made for slightly more of a challenge when photographing. The other thing you might like to know is that @5357311 grew three of these plants from seed! I saw some of his seedlings and very small cacti & succulents in his greenhouse yesterday - they were absolutely ADORABLE! He also has several very large plants which are extremely impressive.

So, today or tomorrow, there will be a bit of windowsill reorganization, and a bit of work during which I'm BOUND to get prickled at some stage!

But I love it!
