Raven

This raven is experiencing a moment of contemplation as he poses for his portrait.

He was sitting on a dock on the waterfront of Juneau, Alaska and obligingly allowed me to close to within about 10 feet and take his picture at 200 mm. ISO was 400 and resulted in f5.6 at 1/180.

Since my local photo tour in Haines, Alaska, I have been encouraged to work with higher ISOs. It results in faster exposures and less motion blur.
