Milestones

I just love these old-fashioned milestones that still peep out at you from the side of country roads in Scotland. This one shows St Andrews, Leuchars, and Newport - all in beautiful Fife, my part of the country. Barrioboy and myself were driving to Anstruther for a quick visit to my brother. Anstruther, where he lives, was just 3 and a half miles away - you can just see it on the other side of the milestone! Am now in Edinburgh airport waiting for my delayed flight to Belfast. Would have loved to have just stayed in Edinburgh tonight.
