Flooers
Was painting the house all day, so rushed out of the house as the light was fading to capture something, anything, in the garden.
Obviously what's going on in this picture is that the yellow, pompous flower is married to the wilting, pathetic creature to his left. Above, her sister, younger, prettier and more vital, turns her firm petals to catch the dying rays of the sun. She is in the midst of a torrid affair with Mr Yellow. Underneath, the lilac clothed children are oblivious to the drama, and love their aunt deeply, despite her transgressions...
Too much wine. Sorry.
