Tile Replacement

Today's project was to replace some of the tiles at the front door. This shot was taken in the middle of the task. Getting the old, broken tile out was time consuming but not the god-awful mess I thought it was going to be. The new tile are in place as you read this and we are waiting for the mastic to set so the grout can be put between them. I could cut the carpet away because we have ordered new and wanted to get this job finished before the new came.
