If only....

.....I hadn't been laying on the drive to take this blip, then the delivery driver wouldn't have had to break suddenly and we wouldn't have got into a 'discussion' about whether 'normal' people should be found flat out on the gravel clutching a camera *tuts*

Anyway, this little chap (chapess?) caught my eye when I went outside at lunchtime and since it allowed me to get very close, I'm guessing that it might be a baby - only small bird identification is not my strong point.

I can tell you all about the other wildlife we get around here like this one or this, but this one has me foxed, so can anybody identify it for me?

Now, if only the cat will stay asleep until the bird has safely disappeared.
