Chenonceau castle

You may visit many wonderful castles in this french region, but this is one of the most incredible, i think.
It is part of Unesco's collection. It's also known as "Chateau des dames" 'cause it was built,loved, governed and protected by women during its long life(built in 1513). This feminine imprint is present everywhere, safeguarding the chateau from conflicts and wars; it is now a haven of peace and serenity.
