Auchengeich Colliery Memorial

Marking the disaster that took place on the 10th Sept 1959.

Passed the replaced miners statue this morning and it looked great in the early morning sun. Took a few minutes on route to work to take in what those families had lost that day. Here was I going to my work and they did the same but never returned. 47 men lost there live that day. So I am setting their memorial as my blip.
