First day

Back in Minnesota! I was last in Minnesota before I started on Blipfoto, but now I'm back!

Rundown of the day:
Headed out to a prairie remnant to look for echinacea seedlings (the owner of the field was spraying herbicides at the time so we returned later).
Checked out the Staffanson Prairie Preserve, where I got this photo of baby birds (I have a few more photos for you, but my site is acting up, so you'll have to wait on them) and we looked at all the various prairie plants (oh so many to learn).
Got our PDAs (data collection devices!) and went home for dinner and shenanigans.

5 mile bike ride either way with some annoying hills. Whoo!
