The catty dog
On the way back from collecting a wheelbarrow from a freecycle person, I went to walk our greyhound, Arthur, on Wells Beach.
I decided to walk to a less busy part of the beach before letting him run (muzzled, or else he may mistake a chihuaha for a rabbit). Just as I set off, a very small dog appeared from behind a sea defence and Arthur thought it was his lunch. The dog was small, fluffy and had pointy ears. Looked very much like a cat. That's exactly what Arthur thought it was. He would love to eat a cat. Arthur launched himself towards it, I pulled him away just in time. The old man owner was very understanding, said his little dog was usually quite fierce. I must admit if it had barked it would have helped Arthur understand better
As the man walked away with his very long umbrella, a kite came into view from the left. A man was flying it for his children (though he didn't sound like he was enjoying it much, and was refusing to let the children hold it).
I don't think our family has ever flown a kite without some kind of domestic.
I think if I could choose any beach hut in this picture, I'd choose the 6th one from the left. Blue. Almost directly behond the blue beach tent thing. Some of the beach huts are ludicrously poncy.
