Tonight Owen discovered that if you stick a cat in a John Lewis duvet box and then wiggle your finger near the crack between the lid and the side, it'll jump out and slash your finger open........obvious really. Clearly he has forgiven Sparky his transgressions as he went to bed, "Dad, on the small furry animal scale of sadness, if Sparky got wiped out, how sad would you feel?".......not the best known unit of sadness measurement. I decline to share my answer in case the RSPCA are reading.

Got to go because Owen has just said "Dad" for the 50th time in 30 seconds, or so it feels.
