My childhood in the 1970s. Eveything appeared to be black & white, including the photos. There was right and there was wrong, there was no inbetween. The lady who used to look after me when I finished school was in the 'right' corner. I ate teacakes & watched Blue Peter, but she didn't talk to me much & didn't have Vimto. With her & with Mum, it was Ribena all the way. The lady next door used to make Vimto lollies & watch ITV, for these reasons alone she was 'wrong'. She had a daughter who was chatty & friendly and we used to sneak off & watch Magpie and talk to her older sister who smoked & had boyfriends. Her sister appeared so exotic. I think she was called Samantha...
