Death Valley

We crossed this desert national park en route between the Eastern Sierra's and Pahrump, Nevada. We've visited this park before. It is the lowest, and I think the dryest part of the U.S. The scenery here is awesome, and there are wonderful spots to stop and spend substantial time if it isn't too hot.

I took this shot from the car. We were in a hurry, and it was 90 degrees F at
10:30 AM. YIKES!!! This place deserves longer looks, in cooler weather.
