During our walk from Steel Rigg today we met a herd of Highland cattle who were being corralled in order to reach a calf who had twine tangled on his horn and one hoof. As they walker towards us they became fascinated by our cameras and seemed to push each other in order to get into the picture! The calf ran on and the twine came free.
We had a glorious day out on relatively unknown paths.
