Peony

A backwards and forwards sort of a day. Too much to do and very little of it done.

At least my peony is looking cheery. I found it in a corner of the garden when we first moved here, looking very sad and sorry for itself hiding under a bush. Wimpy leaves and no flowers. After a few years of crossed fingers I decided it was never going to thrive there and did that thing you should never do.... moved it.

It's taken several years but it's finally decided it likes the new spot. Looks like a proper plant now, instead of a stick with a grizzled leaf or two.
