Common Spotted Conservationists

After a heavy day yesterday in a funding meeting it was good to get out with the Wildlife trusts conservation staff on there annual full staff meet. No work gets done it's just an excuse to go botanising or moth catching or bug hunting. The day was out at a trust reserve at Formby and the crowd went out onto the beach and dunes with the Natural England ranger. Sadly I had to leave for another meeting before they got to the beach. The big black dog 'Fred' is a retired guide dog who is afraid of the dark and has a bad habit of trying to pinch your lunch because his guide dog training makes him think you can't see him.
