Lettuce

These frilly green leaves are my second attempt at growing something edible. Last year's attempt, some tomatoes, didn't ripen. I don't have green fingers.

The lettuces are indoors, to stop the very many snails in my garden from making a meal out of them.

Maybe I should cultivate the snails, and eat them instead!
