The Way We Used to Live...

This 'storage shed' is actually the old home of the smallholder who uses it to store hay for his mules. He raised his children there after his wife's death. That bit on the end was the privy! (I've been carrying a camera to and from work for my students so I finally stopped and took the photo I've been meaning to get for years! Shame it has been raining non stop for the past two days, but quite atmospheric all the same.)
