Sunflower Surprise!

This is one of a cluster of budding sunflowers that weren't planted by me but were deposited in front of my door by birds enjoying the feast of seeds and grains from the numerous feeders in my yard. When I saw the tiny leaves breaking ground, I had no idea what they were until they started developing and voila, what a grand surprise, not to mention a warm welcome to my home!
