The BIG day

Today was the big day and I don't know how I feel about it. There are mixed feelings of excitement and apprehension and then there're moments of "no feelings" (yes, that's a feeling) in between them. Relatives and friends who were planning to attend the wedding have already arrived today. I was glad to see two of my college friends. The wedding ceremony was at the bride's place which is about an hour's drive from ours. On reaching at the venue, I was put on 'display' for people who wanted to see the groom. :) The reaction from different people was amusing and I did my level best to keep the circus running. The ceremony itself was quite elaborate with multiple stages and rituals involved. Though the wedding was in the night, we both were sweating profusely. All went well and things got accomplished without any problems. I am a married man now! :)
