Meet Phil

When Mike's brother sadly died from Cancer earlier this year, Mike wanted something to remember him by. A place where he could go and talk to Phil, shout at him or share a joke. So we bought this liitle crab apple tree in the background from Lidl and named him Phil.

A week after we planted it, I honestly thought it was going to die on us and I was worried about that. But with a spot of gentle care, fertilizer and a few kinds words it srung into blossom

The birds are fond of Phil - he would have liked that. They use him as a springboard to the bird table. On a regular basis we give Phil a drink. He would have liked that too. :-)
