The iPad workshop at San Diego City College was from 9:00-12 noon and then we were hungry so drove a short distance north to La Jolla to fill our tummies and our eyes. Then wandered along the sidewalk looking and capturing photos.
With a "free" afternoon and no appointments, we then started driving north and decided not to stop in San Clemente, but to get to Laguna to soak-up some sun and stroll the sand. Started with a stop at the "Friends of the Library" store to look for cheap CDs and DVDs; then to the bakery for a tall cup of coffee and a macaroon ;-) Then out to the shoreline to enjoy them. We stopped at two hotels to inquire about the cost of a room on the shore for the night. One was $250 and the other $350 -- thanks, but no thanks! Instead we just walked the sand and walked and walked -- holding hands, getting sandy toes, watching dolphins ride the waves, and back at Main Beach sitting and sighing and deciding to drive a few more miles north to get "take-out" dinner (or "take-away' if we are in UK) at Baja Fresh and went out to our favorite overlook above the Newport Channel to watch the sun disappear into the West.
Then a drive east to our inland home -- and then a sleep between the sheets of our favorite bed.
Today/Wednesday -- San Diego to Corona with a kazillion memories made between the two locations. We're still NOT okay, but it's only been 2 weeks. "One day at a time" is our motto.
Thanks for looking in
-- sorry this was posted 12 hours into the next day.

P.S. More about the iPad later (I think Mr. Fun has a new love). That's okay because it will enhance my use of this new gadget!
