Torphichen Preceptory

I have driven past this nearly every night on the way home from work for a number of years now and finally tonight had a chance to go in for a look. Torphichen Preceptory, is a church in the village of Torphichen, West Lothian. It comprises the remains of the Preceptory (headquarters) of the Knights Hospitaller of the Order of St John of Jerusalem in Scotland.

Nowadays it is maintained by Historic Scotland and is open Saturdays & Sundays throughout the summer.
