Summer's back

It was absolutely scorching today. So hot in fact that even people in shorts and t shirts were having to seek shade. Although this photo looks like a candid shot I did actually ask permission first.

After this I ended up on the most uncomfortable bus journey ever. The only seat available was the front seat upstairs so the whole journey was spent in baking sunshine with no cooling breeze. Coupled with the fact we ended up stuck in the traffic for a bit I was absolutely baking by the time I got off the bus.

Hopefully it lasts into the weekend this time.
