A hot day

First day this year that I could honestly describe as too hot for comfort - particularly when sitting in an office for most of it. So I walked back the length of the New Town in the shade of the Queen Street Gardens trees.

I thought this bench in the leafy shade looked appealing, but I am not a key holder to these private gardens and the metal spikes are really quite off-putting.
