Arctic Visitor - Snowy Owl

Just got back from 10 days in western and northern Newfoundland. Was amazed to find a snowy owl still hanging out near Daniel's Harbour on the Great Northern Peninsula. This guy should be 100o miles to the north by now...they are generally just uncommon winter visitors. First time I've seen one in June!
