Princes Street - no trams
The serious street theatre season here in Edinburgh is still a few weeks away. During the Fringe, the Royal Mile is busy with lots of acts, and - for example - the sight of jugglers with St Giles Cathedral in the background always gives me a bit of a mediaeval feel. (even if the visuals would be a bit anachronistic)
However, here is one chap chancing his arm early. On Princes Street!
I hope he has a licence for this - because in this position he would not be able to see Lothian and Borders finest approaching!
