A Momentus Occasion

OK - this is a wee bit dull but a bit personally exciting for me - so I will need to be a bit selfish and record this for posterity!!

You see - I have actually picked up a pencil and paintbrush for the first time in YEARS (since before I lost my dad) and it feels amazing!! I am now attempting to paint my blip from Thursday 16th - in oils - having purchased a bargain canvas last week and having spent the weekend drawing it out (when I wasn't blipping of course).

Since beginning my blip journal last Monday 13th - which seems like a very long time ago now (funny how time flys when you are having so much fun) - in 8 wee days, I have had more fun creatively than I have had in a very long time... and I love it. I never thought that being committed to this blip would have such a positive impact on my life in such a short space of time.

As I said, a bit dullsville - but a personal milestone for me!!!
