hua hin

continuing the jump around the world, left amsterdam yesterday to find myself in bangkok for a couple of days of r&r before some work in china.

picked up by my friend at the airport early morning, and we headed to hua hin, just to get away from it all for a little bit. landed ourselves at this little spot, which i must say i am impressed with.

the weather was a bit cloudy today, as seen here, but was a perfect transition, coming from amsterdam and all. light lunch, a drink or two, and then i was flat-lined on a beach chair for a couple of hours (jet lag finally caught up), while she relaxed, took some photos, and had a chat with the gardeners.

to our amazement, there were a number of bhutanese working at the resort. turns out they're opening a sister site near paro, which should be equally as nice.

so nice to be back in thailand!
