Route 66

A very tongue-in-cheek sign outside an allotment garden along Vlieland's only road. Incidentally, it is not normally possible to take your motor across to the island; only islanders (pop 1100) and those in possession of a special permit are allowed to take a car across. So, not much "Route 66" to be had along the Postweg (Post Road).
