Life's a Beach

Sunny gorgeous day - got up early and headed to South Bay all by myself! Just started reading the GIrl with the Dragon Tattoo - slow to get into to start but getting good now. So spent all morning and all afternoon reading and scorching myself - didn't realise quite how scorched I was until this evening actually...!

Saw some friends on the beach so stopped for a little catch-up and then headed back to central for a two hour massage at the L'Occitane spa - amazing! Then to the Italian deli round the corner to pick up a lazy dinner. Home to reheat the lazy dinner, drink some wine and watch the final of Junior Apprentice on YouTube.

Pretty great day.

Oh and my new favourite album - Swim by Caribou. Think it might be this summer's Oracular Spectacular (not feeling the new MGMT album at the moment, maybe it'll grow on me though...)
