Finally a Flicker
I went out early today to continue to photograph damselflies and dragonflies. I had finished photographing them when an unknown flycatcher appeared, so I got my long lens to try to capture an image to help in identification, but the bird hid among the leaves. However, in the field about 15 feet away a flicker was feeding on the ground and it allowed me to get its portrait without flying away and showing me its rump, which is what I usually see.
