The Young of Today ...

They look so wise, all thier nine or so months worth.
The wee fella on the right is a real miracle babe. These two were both due just 2 days apart, but this wee fella, decied he'd much rather arrive at just 25 weeks! He's coming up one next week, a very special celebration indeed!
(his mum and I have been friends for 10 yrs, so was a special journey to be involved with)

His journey of survival, even before he made his entrance, was a truly harrowing one. We watched his growth and struggle for existance, from his 830 gram entrance, to his now wopping 10 kg. An amazing wee chap, who in his first 12 hours was breathing for himself, his apgar scores were 9 & 10. he's a true survivor who I believe will go far in life. He has been through more in his short life to date, than most people will go through in an entire life time.

..."ya know, they did a really good job on his head.." his mum often says, we laugh.

There are some amazing doctors and nurses in this world, truly special and dedicated people, who see all walks of life, yet treat them all the same, with compassion and care.

Happy birthday Baby G! OXOXOX
