Usher Hall, Edinburgh

I was in Edinburgh all day, preparing for an event in the evening. The pressure was certainly on to find a Blip, especially in the home of Blipfoto. I had little time, and only my compact with me.

Here is a detail, looking up through the canopy of the circular Usher Hall Building. The exterior has been refurbished, with a modern glazed Box Office addition - not sure I liked that.

Situated in Lothian Road, it has hosted concerts and events since it was built in 1914. It holds around 2,500 people.
