Elder Son's been in a confirmation school for two weeks, the confirmation is tomorrow. The confirmation school has taken place in Aholansaari Island, the homestead of Paavo Ruotsalainen (1977-1852).

Paavo was a farmer and a religious leader, whose story is told in an opera The Last Temptations. It was performed even in New York Metropolitan Opera.

We came to Aholansaari a day before the confirmation and had a good time together with grandparents and Elder Son's godparents & their families. A real Finnish summer evening: sauna, swimming, bbq and mosquitos.
