Kibler One Room Schoolhouse

The World Wide Panorama theme for the June solstice is Forgotten Places. I felt the Kibler One Room Schoolhouse would be a great subject for forgotten places.

Besides being a great historical site and photographic opportunity - the docent today actually went to school in this building in the mid 1900's! We talked about some of his experiences - where he was in charge of securing the water each day from the farm across the road. And there was never a "snow" day - and they all walked to school asa there were no school buses. What an honor to spend time sharing real history and events with this gentleman.
