Solstice Cup

It started with a tweet. And so it was that I set the alarm and hauled myself to Sefton Park Cricket Club this morning to see the sunrise. And some guys playing cricket.

Its the club's 150th anniversary this year and the idea of a dawn match on the longest day to celebrate seemed like a good idea at the time.

Actually, it was good fun and all taken in good spirit (in some cases, literally).
