Angry Stag!

... and who wouldn't be angry with a missing back leg? Poor thing.

I've seen loads of stag beetles this past week. The conditions must be particularly good for them this year - good weather, lots of prey, reduced predators?

I even saw one trying to get through the doors of the local job centre!
