A long day
Dawn on the longest day of the year, I would have gone to a stone circle but two things stopped me - I had to go to work, and the number of people that now feel the need to act 'new age' for one morning a year. Many many years ago I stood watching the dawn over Castlerigg Stone Circle on the longest day and there were two other people present. Now it appears the place is taken over with bonfires, tents, people drinking, and rubbish strewn everywhere - not a combination that I would consider as relaxing in any way.
This sunrise was taken from the end of our path, I'll visit a stone circle for some dawn photographs when the masses have left.
