We went to some local woods for our usual evening stroll today.

It looked as though this tree had obviously fallen fairly recently.

I love the way that the sun is lighting up the bottom of the trunk, making it look as though there is a glow coming from inside (unless of course the fairies were sitting inside the trunk having a sing-song around a camp fire! )
