Window to the sky

Finally hit the longest day of the year. Since moving to Edinburgh, I've always been amazed by how late the light stays in the sky. It's nothing like being in the highlands of course, but even here you see light in the sky past 1am, and it's not dark long before it's starting to brighten up again around 3am. Of course the viewing is made all the easier when you're three floors up! Now if only we could move somewhere high up but with a massive roof terrace, to satisfy our longing for a garden to enjoy gin in.
