Squatters!

Yes, we have squatters on our property!

A month ago we had a barbecue, earlier in the day #2 Daughter took
this shot. I was facing the other way during the meal and took this shot.

So there you have it! The house martins flew hundreds of miles to come and build a nest on our house and, as soon as they finished carrying beakfuls of mud, they were ousted by the locals! Tough!

I know sparrow numbers are declining but there are so many other niches they could have used instead of chasing away the martins.


Not brilliant as images go, and unimaginably awful viewed large, but I want this cheeky chappy recorded as he is part of our lives at the moment.
