David and Goliath.....

David and Goliath fight in the sky, as I watched the Common Tern defend his Chicks from the Gulls that are always on the hunt for a quick meal. Soon the chicks will be Ringed by the Wardens, so we can recognise them at a later date.

The "Dog Fight" went on for a while before the gulls are driven off, I even saw one Gull hit the lake surface as he tried to get away from the little Tern.

As I drove to the Nature Reserve I noticed that the Deer in the Park were growing their Antlers, so I might just Blip them tomorrow.
